Kourtney Mary Kardashian (born April 18, 1979 in Los Angeles , California ) is a reality soap entrant and entrepreneur from the United States .

Life

Kardashian is of Armenian descent from her father, Robert Kardashian, and European from her mother, Kris Jenner . Her father, celebrity attorney Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003, was a close confidante of OJ Simpson and a member of the defense attorney at his criminal trial . Her stepmother is Caitlyn Jenner , winner of the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal .

Kardashian became known through the family reality soap Keeping Up with the Kardashians , which has been produced since 2007 , in which her mother Kris Jenner and stepmother Caitlyn Jenner as well as her siblings Khloé , Kim and Robert Kardashian and her half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner took part. She also gained prominence through the spin-off series Kourtney and Khloé take Miami and Kourtney and Kim Take New York .

In September 2012, she and her younger sister Kim started a new spin-off series called Kourtney and Kim Take Miami , which aired from January 2013. Her mother Kris Jenner and her sister Khloé Kardashian will also appear again.

Together with her sisters Kim and Khloé, Kourtney Kardashian runs the fashion boutique chain DASH and launched a fashion collection called the "Kardashian Kollection".

Kardashian has been dating model and reality TV actor Scott Disick since 2006 . The couple separated in the summer of 2015. They have three children together, a son Mason Dash Disick (* 2009), a daughter Penelope Scotland Disick (* 2012) and a second son Reign Aston Disick (* December 14, 2014).
