The Kozō Rock ( Norwegian Filungen ) is a rock formation on the Crown Prince Olav Coast in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises between the Narabi Rocks and the Gobamme Rock .
He was mapped and photographed by participants in the Japanese Antarctic Expedition, which lasted from 1957 to 1962, and who named him Kozō-iwa ( Japanese 小 象 岩 , 'Little Elephant Rock' ). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated the Japanese name into English in 1968.
