The Krügerberg is a 2655 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises 13 km southwest of the mountain Kvithø in the Sverdrupfjella .
It was discovered and named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . It is named after the meteorologist Walter Krüger (1905–1948), a participant in this research trip. The mountain was surveyed during the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952). In Norway the mountain is known as Kvitskarvet .
