The Alba power plant is a combined cycle power plant in Bahrain . It is owned and operated by Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA) and also operated by ALBA.
Data
With an installed capacity of 2,249 (or 2,265) MW , it is the most powerful power plant in Bahrain. It is used to supply the ALBA aluminum smelter, which is located directly next to the power plant . The installed capacity of 2,249 MW corresponds to the average electricity consumption in all of Bahrain.
