In 2007 the operational operation of several hydropower plants was handed over to Bayerische Landeskraftwerke GmbH . She also became the owner of the Hilpoltstein power station.

description

The local operator is the Ansbach water management office . A Francis turbine with a directly coupled synchronous generator was installed . The generator has a maximum output of 3.4  MVA . The standard capacity is 5.4  GWh per annum, installed power is 3 MW, the drop height is 23.5 m and the design flow 17 m³ / s.
