The Salto Andersen power plant ( Spanish Central hidroeléctrica Salto Andersen ) is a hydropower plant in the province of Río Negro , Argentina , which is located on the Río Colorado .
The power plant was officially put into operation on June 21, 2011. The installed capacity of the power plant is 7.8 MW . The average annual production is given as 52.5 million kWh . Two Kaplan turbines each produce a maximum of 3.93 MW. The fall height is 7.5 m. The flow rate is between 120 m³ / s.
