The Tušimice power plant ( Elektrárny Tušimice in Czech ) is a lignite power plant with an installed capacity of 800 MW . It is in the Ústecký kraj region , Czech Republic , which is located about 5 km east of the town of Kadaň . About 2 km south of the power plant is the Nechranice reservoir .
The power plant went into operation in 1974 and is operated by ČEZ .
