The Wang Noi power plant is a combined cycle power plant in Wang Noi County, Ayutthaya Province , Thailand .
With an installed capacity of 2,660 (or 2,710) MW , Wang Noi is one of the most powerful power plants in Thailand (as of May 2020). Construction of the power plant began in 1993. It went into operation in 1996 with the first blocks. The power plant is owned by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and is also operated by EGAT.

Systems 1 to 4 each consist of two gas turbines and a downstream steam turbine . A waste heat steam generator is connected to each of the two gas turbines ; the waste heat steam generator then supplies the steam turbine.

The cost of construction of the plants 1 to 3 amounted to 1.5 billion USD .
