The Tauron Arena Kraków is a multi-purpose arena in Kraków - Czyżyny , Poland . It is the largest multi-purpose arena in Poland and has the largest LED facade in Poland with an area of 5100 m² and one of the largest LED screens in Europe with an area of 540 m². The arena hosted the 2014 men's volleyball world championship . Games from the 2015 Men's Ice Hockey World Championship Division I and the 2016 Men's Handball European Championship were also played in the arena. The Valve- sponsored PGL Major: Kraków 2017 also took place there.
Surname
At the end of January 2015, it became known that the energy holding Tauron Polska Energia had acquired the naming rights to the Kraków Arena. The contract has a term of three years with an option for two more years. Since February 2015 the event hall has been officially named Tauron Arena Kraków .

The arena itself has a usable area of 61,434 m², a height of 27 m and a playing area of 4546 m². On the upper part of the grandstand there are 6,744 seats, which are divided into a total of 24 sectors. The middle part of the grandstand offers 1,036 seats and the lower part of the grandstand offers another 6,638 seats. At sporting events, 14,496 seats can be occupied with VIP and handicapped-accessible seats. Overall, the arena with a seating area offers a maximum of 18,000 seats or a maximum of 22,800 standing places.
Training hall
Next to the arena there is a smaller 11 m high hall with a playing area of 1748 m², a width of 36 m and a length of 48 m. The hall offers 304 seats and can be used as a training hall for sporting events as well as for smaller events.
