The Krakken ( Norwegian for stool ) is a rocky hill in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Sør Rondane Mountains, it rises 6 km east of Mount Bautaen .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the hill descriptively, mapped it in 1957 using aerial photographs taken during the US Operation Highjump (1946–1947).
