Kraljeva Sutjeska ("King's Gorge") is a Bosnian village near the industrial city of Kakanj .

In the Middle Ages it was also named under the Latin place name Curia Bani . This naming was derived from the Franciscan monastery of the same name from the 14th century. In addition, the Franciscan monastery is a landmark of the place. There was once a castle in Kraljeva Sutjeska.
The all nearby fortress Bobovac was the seat of Bosnian kings from the Kotromanić - dynasty . Among other things, the Bosnian King Tvrtko II resided in Bobovac . The last king of the Kingdom of Bosnia , Stjepan Tomašević , was beheaded by the Ottomans in Ključ in 1463 after his flight from Bobovac via Jajce . His wife Katarina Kosača-Kotromanić was the last Bosnian queen; after the Ottomans took the royal residence in 1463, she was able to flee into exile in Rome .

Historical buildings in Kraljeva Sutjeska
- The Dusper House is the oldest house of Kraljeva Sutjeska and a national monument in central Bosnia. It dates from the early 18th century.
- The local mosque was built by Mehmed II Fatih in the 15th century . It is one of the oldest Islamic churches in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- The Franciscan monastery of the same name Kraljeva Sutjeska was built in the middle of the 14th century and is still the spiritual and cultural center of this area today.
