Krešimir Račić
Krešimir "Krešo" Račić (born August 15, 1932 in Karlovac , † June 19, 1994 in Zagreb ) was a Yugoslav hammer thrower .
In 1954 he came in 18th place at the European Athletics Championships in Bern . At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he was sixth and at the European Championships in 1958 in Stockholm tenth.
In 1959 he won bronze at the Universiade and won the Mediterranean Games . At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 he was eliminated from the qualification.
He was Yugoslav champion seven times (1954, 1955, 1957, 1959, 1961, 1962, 1964). He set his personal best of 63.89 m on September 23, 1960 in Athens .
