Upninkai County

Circle Upninkai ( lithuanian pninkų apylinkė ) was an administrative unit until 1995 in Central Lithuania to the present village Upninkai in District Upninkai the jonava district municipality in Kaunas .

history

From 1940 to 1947, Upninkai County belonged to Wolost Jonava ( Kaunas District ), and from 1947 to 1950 to Wolost Vepriai ( Ukmergė District ). In 1959 Mančiušėnai County was added, and Keižionys County in 1963 . On May 29, 1968, the district center was moved and put back on January 27, 1971. 1972 there was the state farm Upninkai and a total of 39 villages.
