Anton Christoph

Anton Christoph (born October 21, 1867 in plan ; † November 19, 1924 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a tanner , Christoph studied law at the University of Vienna , where he became a member of the Albia fraternity in 1889 . In 1908 he became a notary in Werfen , where he became mayor in 1910 . In 1918 he became a member and chairman of the German freedom party group . In 1918 he was represented in the provisional state assembly of Salzburg and from 1918 to 1924 a member of the Salzburg state parliament , in which he was chairman of the German Freedom Club from 1919. From 1919 to 1922 he was regional councilor in the Pongau-Pinzgau constituency. In 1920 he became a notary in Salzburg.
