Krejbjerg Stordysse (also one of the Nederskallinghøje) was in the original excavation from 1910 even as the two closely adjacent megaliths as a passage grave ( Danish jættestue - Giant room) classified. The dolmen is located in the 25 hectare Krejbjerg plantation (coniferous forest plantation) west of Roslev (north of the passage grave in the Ginderup plantation) in the western part of the Jutland Salling Peninsula . It is a megalithic complex of the funnel beaker culture (TBK) and was created between 3500 and 2800 BC. Chr.

The inaccessible Stordysse of Krejbjerg consists of an elongated polygonal chamber made of eight bearing stones and a corridor made of seven bearing stones, which is about the same length as the chamber.

The main difference in the nomenclature of the barrows is the position of the passage, which here is axial (in the manner of dolmen ) as opposed to laterally in passage graves. The corresponding German term Großdolmen also defines the number of cap stones as “more than two”, which does not apply in the Scandinavian region. The structural form of Großdolmen and Stordyssen (Denmark), which does not exist in Sweden, cannot be compared with German systems, as the special access structures (antechamber or vestibule) are not used.
