The Kreplin House ( English Kreplin House ) is a historic residential building in Lüderitz in the ǁKaras region in Namibia . It has been a National Monument since June 15, 1983 .
The house was built in 1909 as a residential building for Emil Kreplin , the administrator of the railway in Lüderitz and the city's first mayor. It was designed by the architect Friedrich Kramer and built by the construction company FH Schmidt .
