Kresna Gully ( Bulgarian Кресненска Падина Kresnenska Padina ) is an elongated, 2.7 km long depression with numerous crevasses on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the east of the island, the Perunika glacier extends from Rezen Knoll in a westerly direction. It ends 930 m southeast to south of Aleko Rock and 3 km northeast of Cape Hespérides as the eastern corner of Emona Anchorage .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 1996 after the Kresna Gorge in Bulgaria . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee transferred in 1997 the Bulgarian designation into English.
