course
The Kreuzbach rises in the eastern Ruhner Mountains near the town of Krumbeck, which belongs to Putlitz . Several source ditches unite south of the place. The Kreuzbach runs in a south-easterly direction to its confluence with the Stepenitz, one kilometer north of the core town of Putlitz. It flows through two ponds. Below this the Kreuzbach has been straightened. It passes under Brandenburger Landesstrasse 111. A few hundred meters from its mouth it runs underground under a field. Despite these interventions in the original course, the Kreuzbach is today part of the Stepenitz nature reserve .
