General
The war memorial in Bellingen is located on Dorfstrasse in front of the cemetery wall of the town's church . It is a boulder on a base made of field stones . It was erected to commemorate the fallen of World War I and is decorated with an iron cross surrounded by a wreath. Later, in addition to the first boulder, another boulder, also on a base made of field stones, was set up for the fallen of the Second World War in November 1998.
