Stuart Crawford (born February 13, 1981 in Irvine ) is a former Scottish squash player and today's squash trainer.

Career

Stuart Crawford played on the PSA World Tour from 2005 to 2010 and won one title in a total of two finals. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 113 in February 2008. Between 2005 and 2011 he was Scottish national champion five times. With the Scottish national team he took part in the World Cup in 2005 , 2007 , 2009 and 2011 . In addition, he was part of the squad at European Championships several times . In the individual, he did not qualify for the main draw of the World Cup, while he was in 2005reached the round of 16 of the European Championship. During his career Crawford came on 86 appearances for the national team. With Greg Lobban he reached the quarterfinals in doubles at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 .

After retiring from his career, Crawford began working as a coach. At the Scottish Association he was initially employed as an assistant coach to the national team and was responsible for the junior program. In 2015 he became a full-time Scottish national coach for one year before joining the Amherst College coaching team in 2016 .
