Sicap
The Société immobilière du Cap-Vert or SICAP is a real estate company in Senegal . It was founded in 1950 under the colonial administration of French West Africa to carry out real estate projects in the fast-growing capital Dakar . Even after the founding of the state of Senegal, she was active in the city and has her company headquarters in the district of Biscuiterie amidst the projects she has implemented on the Place de l'Unité Africaine in Dakar, which is still partly known as Rond point Jet d'eau .
The following 13 districts were realized by Sicap:
- Amitié 1 and 2 in Fann-Point E-Amitié
- Liberté 1 to 6 in the urban districts of Sicap-Liberté and Dieuppeul-Derklé ,
- Dieuppeul in Dieuppeul-Derklé
- Baobab, Karak, Mermoz and Sacré-Cœur in Mermoz-Sacré Cœur
