The mark war memorial is a listed war memorial in the brand district of the city of Raguhn-Jeßnitz in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is recorded as a monument with registration number 094 95416 .

General

The war memorial in Marke is located on Dorfstrasse south of the volunteer fire brigade's tool shed . It is a large boulder on a base made of field stones . The boulder is decorated on the left with a helmet and a sword, and in the top center there is an iron cross . It was erected to commemorate the fallen soldiers of the First World War . The inscription is barely legible, the eight names of the fallen are even more clearly recognizable.
