Prosigk war memorial
The Prosigk war memorial is a listed war memorial in the Prosigk district of the city of Southern Anhalt in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument with registration number 094 97233 .
General
The war memorial in Prosigk stands in an open area on Schulstrasse . It is a boulder on a pedestal made of reading stones , decorated with an iron cross , which is no longer completely preserved. In front of it there is a stone bench . Between the bank and the boulder is the memorial plaque for those who died in the First World War . The plaque contains an inscription and the names of the fallen soldiers of the place. The writing on the memorial plaque is barely legible.
