War memorial for 1814–1815 (Anhalt-Bernburg)

The war memorial for 1814–1815 was donated by decree on January 4, 1818 by Duke Alexius von Anhalt-Bernburg and could be awarded to officers , non-commissioned officers and men of the Bernburg troops who opposed themselves in the wars of liberation in 1814 and 1815 France had proven itself.

The round medal , made of blackened bronze , shows the initials of the founder AFC (Alexius Friedrich Christian) surmounted by a princely crown . The initials are surrounded by a laurel wreath tied at the bottom. On the reverse the four-line inscription Den Vaterlands Defleidigern 1814. 1815. Underneath there is an oak wreath also tied at the bottom .

The award was worn on the ribbon on the left side of the chest.
