Kris Doolan (born December 11, 1986 in Irvine ) is a Scottish football player who plays for FC Arbroath .

Career

Kris Doolan began his career with the Kello Rovers and Auchinleck Talbot . In January 2009 he moved to the Scottish second division team Partick Thistle after successfully completing a trial training session. The striker made his debut for the Jags from Glasgow in the Scottish Cup against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in January 2009. In the same month Doolan scored his first professional goal in the league game against Queen of the South . From February to May 2010 he was awarded to the Scottish third division club FC Clyde . After his return, he was Thistle's top scorer in the second division season 2010/11 . In 2013 Doolan lost with his club in the final of the Challenge Cup against Queen of the South. In the same season as a champion, he was promoted to the Scottish Premiership . Here, too, he was very accurate in the following years and usually scored double digits in the respective seasons. After the 2014/15 season ended , Doolan had scored at least ten goals in five consecutive years, surpassing a club record from the 1950s.
