Kristen Cherie Mann (born August 10, 1983 in Lakewood , California , United States ) is a professional basketball player. She currently plays for the Atlanta Dream in the Women's National Basketball Association as a small forward .
Career
college
Mann played as a small forward for the University of California, Santa Barbara women's basketball team until 2005 .
Women's National Basketball Association
Kristen Mann was selected eleventh in the 2005 WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx . In her first season in the WNBA, she got 3 points and 7.7 minutes per game. In the 2006 season she made the jump into the starting lineup of the Lynx. That season she got 7.4 points, 3.4 rebounds , and 2.8 assists per game. In the 2007 season she was in 17 of 34 games in the starting lineup of the Lynx. Furthermore, she was able to further improve her points (7.6 points per game) and rebound cut (3.6 rebounds per game).
In the 2008 season , the Atlanta Dream joined the WNBA and in the expansion draft , Atlanta decided, among other things, for Mann, who has thus played for the Atlanta Dream since the 2008 season.
