Kristi Castlin (born July 7, 1988 in Atlanta ) is an American athlete who specializes in the 100 meter hurdles .

She made her first international appearance in 2007 when she won the gold medal at the Pan American Junior Games in São Paulo . With her time of 13.02 seconds she was clearly ahead of her compatriot Queen Harrison , who needed 13.20 seconds.

In the following years she tried twice in vain to qualify for the Olympic Games. It only worked on the third attempt. In 2016 in Rio de Janeiro , she won both her preliminary and her semi-finals, where she caught the eye with times of 12.68 and 12.63 seconds. In the final she was able to improve again and won the bronze medal with 12.61 seconds behind her two compatriots Brianna Rollins and Nia Ali .
