Kristiina Tuomi (* 1977 ) is a German-Finnish jazz singer who has also emerged as a drummer .

Tuomi grew up as the child of a Finnish woman and a German in West Berlin. It was not until she was 18 that she began taking singing lessons before studying jazz at the Berlin University of the Arts . With Carsten Daerr , whom she met during her studies, and Carlos Bica , she formed the Trio Tuomi , with whom she released two albums. With Kalle Kalima she did indie pop as SeaZoo ( Stories to the Moon 2006). She also formed the jazz pop group So Weiss with bassist Roland Fidezius and saxophonist Susanne Folk , with whom she toured until 2012. She can also be heard on recordings by Stefan Goldmann , Educa Lux, Kuniyuki and the electronica band Paloma and worked on two songs for the feature film Da geht noch was (2013). In 2014 she performed in Hamburg on drums in the production of Short Interviews with Nasty Men based on David Foster Wallace .
