Kristijan Alexandrow Malinow ( Bulgarian Кристиян Александров Малинов ; born March 30, 1994 in Petritsch ) is a Bulgarian football player .

Career

society

Malinow began his career with Belasiza Petritsch and then played for Pirin in 2001 . After that he came to the youth of Litex Lovech . In November 2011 he was against Lokomotive Plovdiv for the first time in the squad of professionals.

For the 2013/14 season he was awarded to the second division club PFC Dobrudscha Dobritsch . He made his debut for Dobrudscha in the B Grupa in August 2013, when he was in the starting line-up against Akademik Swishtov on the first day of that season . He scored his first goal in October 2013 against Vitosha Bistritsa , where he made it 1-1. By the end of the season he was used in all 26 games in which he was able to score four goals.

After returning to Litex Lovech, he made his debut in A Grupa in July 2014 , when he was in the starting line-up against CSKA Sofia on the first day of the 2014/15 season . At the end of the season he had 30 appearances in which he was able to score two goals. After Litex Lovetsch was excluded from A Grupa in December 2015, Malinow was used for the second team in B Grupa, for which he played eleven games by the end of the season.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to CSKA Sofia. For ZSKA, he played in 17 league games that season in which he did not score. In mid-August 2020 he moved to the Belgian first division Oud-Heverlee Löwen and signed a contract there until summer 2023.

National team

Malinov first played for the Bulgarian U-21 team in 2014 .

In February 2015, he played for the senior national team for the first time when he was in the starting line-up in an unofficial international match against Romania and was replaced by Stefan Welew in the 64th minute . He made his first appearance in an official game in June 2015 when he came on for Ivelin Popov in a friendly against Turkey in the 76th minute .
