Kristin Cashore
Kristin Cashore (* 1976 in Pennsylvania ) is an American writer who mainly writes fantasy literature .
Life
Cashore grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, the second oldest of four sisters. She studied at the Center for the Study of Children's Literature at Simmons College in Boston , Massachusetts . Cashore worked with two novels in various professions up to her first success as a writer, including as an editor and copywriter in the advertising industry. Her books immediately made it to the New York Times bestseller list. They have already been translated into 28 languages.
In 2012 she lived and wrote in Boston. Her third novel was published that year, entitled Bitterblue .
