The Kristin Peak is a 1,300 m high mountain peaks on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises 7 km south of Cape Tennyson at the northern end of Giggenbach Ridge .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2000 after Kristin Larson, who worked for the United States Antarctic Program from 1988 , spent two Antarctic winters at McMurdo Station , and in 1988 and 1992 as well as between 1992 and 1995 overseeing various Held research laboratories in Antarctica .
