Krivus Island (English; Bulgarian остров Кривус ostrow Kriwus ) is a largely icy and east-west orientation 1.06 km long and 920 m wide island of the Pitt Islands in the archipelago of the Biscoe Islands off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 1.15 km south-southwest of Vaugondy Island , 1.23 km west of Jingle Island , 0.91 km north of Weller Island and 2.05 km east of Snodgrass Island in the eastern section of Johannessen Harbor .

British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the medieval Krivus fortress in southern Bulgaria .
