history

The villa was built according to a design by the architect Heinrich Müller-Erkelenz for the senior staff doctor a. DW cream.

1955-56, the state acquired Iceland the property to its previously there in Rheinhotel Dreesen resident Embassy in the Federal Republic of Germany on the seat of government to set up Bonn. The basement of the building served as the office, the upper floors as the residence of the embassy, ​​residence of the ambassador. architecture

The building is one to two floors on approximately square ground plan on a high basement ( basement built) and is at the top by a high mansard hipped completed. The street front is constructed symmetrically and is characterized in the middle by a two-storey, double-stepped porch, each flanked by a window axis. At the level of the main storey it takes the form of an octagonal prism , its upper end forms a curved, dome-like roof that is rounded at the top. The entrance is on the left side of the house.
