Krousonas ( Greek Κρουσώνας ( m. Sg. )) Is a small town and a municipality in the Cretan municipality of Malevizi . The small town of Krousonas was merged in 1997 with three other localities to form a municipality of the same name, which in turn was merged with the municipalities of Gazi and Tylisos to form the new municipality of Malevizi on January 1, 2011 on the basis of the Kallikratis Act . The actual city of Krousonas has 2107 inhabitants.
