The Krumme See is located northwest of the Useriner district Zwenzow in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is located west of the Useriner See in the Mecklenburg Lake District within the Müritz National Park and is about 1.86 kilometers long and sometimes 300 meters wide. The narrowest point measures less than 50 meters and divides the lake into two distinctive basins. The name of the lake is probably derived from its L-shaped "crooked" shape. It has an area of 52 hectares. The entire bank of the water, especially in the west, is quite steep and forested throughout. The lake has no noteworthy above-ground inflows and outflows.
