Domingos dos Reis Quita

Domingos dos Reis Quita (born January 6, 1728 in Lisbon , Portugal , † June 13, 1770 ibid) was a Portuguese poet .

He wrote his bucolic poems based on his compatriots, the Portuguese writer Luís de Camões (1525–1580), and the poet Bernardim Ribeiro (1482–1552). Of Quita's tragedies , Inès de Castro was best known.
