Krystyna Kłosińska
Krystyna Kłosińska (born May 20, 1952 in Legnica ) is a Polish literary historian and literary critic . In her academic work, she mainly deals with the Polish literature of the 19th and 20th centuries, in particular the works of Gabriela Zapolska , as well as feminist issues in literary criticism.
Life
From 1967 to 1971 Kłosińska attended grammar school in Tarnobrzeg . After graduating from high school in 1971, she studied Polish studies at the Silesian University in Katowice , where she obtained her master's degree in 1975 . After completing her studies, she was employed as an assistant at the Institute for Polish Culture and Literature at the Silesian University. In 1975 she made her debut as a literary critic with the essay Poetyka polskiej powieści dojrzałego realizmu (1876–1895) , which was published in the magazine Ruch Literacki . In 1977 Krzysztof married Kłosiński . In 1985 she received her doctorate with the thesis Powieści o "wieku nerwowym" at the Silesian University. In 2000 she completed her habilitation there with the thesis Ciało, pożądanie, ubranie. O wczesnych powieściach Gabrieli Zapolskiej . From 2001 to 2005 she gave seminars on feminist literary criticism at the School of Social Sciences at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw and from 2001 to 2011 at the Institute for Audiovisual Arts at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow . Since 2005 she has been a professor at the University of Silesia.
She lives in Sosnowiec .
