Krzysztof Benedyk (born January 14, 1972 in Dębica ) is a Polish former football player and current coach who has lived in Germany since 1998.
Career
His first club was Wisłoka Dębica in southeast Poland . The 1.83 m tall and 79 kg heavy, versatile player experienced his most successful period from 1994 to 1997 at Ruch Chorzów in the first Polish league . In Poland he also played briefly between 1996 and 1998 for Wawel Kraków and Hetman Zamość and in the 2000/01 season for Stal Stalowa Wola .
In September 1998 he moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena . The Polish footballer made his debut in the Thuringian derby on the 9th match day of the 1998/99 season of the Regionalliga Nordost at FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt (2-2). During the entire season he was used in 16 league games, but could only score two goals - both in the away game at FC Sachsen Leipzig . At the end of the season he left the FCC and returned to his homeland. Krzysztof Benedyk played a total of 18 competitive games for FC Carl Zeiss - 16 of them in the regional league , one game for the DFB Cup and one game for the Thuringia Cup .
After his time in Jena, he played in Germany with SV Borussia Wuppertal (2001 to 2004), 1. FC Kleve (2004/05), VfB Speldorf (2005 to 2007) and 1. FC Wülfrath (2007), VfB Hilden (2008) and Ratingen 04/19 (since July 2008). In 2010 he moved to FC Polonia Wuppertal as a player- coach . Since the 2010/11 season, Jean-Louis Tavarez was his teammate there. In 2012 he moved to the district league club Grün-Weiß Wuppertal .
