Stephan Kudert

Stephan Kudert (born May 6, 1962 in West Berlin ) is a German economist and has been a professor at the Chair for General Business Administration (ABWL), in particular business taxation and auditing, at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) , whose executive university president has been since 1994 he has been since January 2018.

Life

Kudert studied business administration at the Technical University of Berlin from 1981 to 1985 and received his doctorate from the Free University of Berlin (FU) in 1989. His habilitation took place in 1994 at the Free University of Berlin.

Since 1994 he has been a professor at the European University Viadrina. Furthermore, Kudert has been a lecturer at the Federal Chamber of Tax Advisors for international tax law since 2000 and a lecturer at the University of Hamburg in the MBA program in International Taxation since 2001 . Since 2002 he has been working as a visiting professor at the European School of Management and Technology Berlin and has been Scientific Director for International Tax Law at the German Scientific Institute of Tax Advisors since 2007. Furthermore, since 2015 he has held the position of Vice President of the European University Viadrina . After President Alexander Wöll announced his retirement in October 2017, Kudert has been the University's Executive President since January 2018.
