The Kuhberg is a hill south of Lenzkirch - Saig in the Black Forest with a height of 1000.4 m above sea level. NHN .
Location and description
The northern part, visible from the village center of Saig, consists of meadows, the southern part, on the other hand, is forested, the dome marks the tree line. At the highest point there is a playground for children and a refuge that was last renovated in 2015 and is also used by the Saig kindergarten during their forest days.
Winter sports
For winter sports there is a ski slope with two ski lifts on the Kuhberg. The larger one is a 400 meter long drag lift , which is on the right-hand side as seen from Saig. This was modernized in 2009 after damage. There is a rope lift (so-called baby lift) on the left side of the Kuhberg. The floodlight system installed on the Kuhberg enables evening skiing on Friday and Saturday. The facilities also include a snow tubing slope with a rope lift that runs up the opposite slope to the Zinken Hof.
