Kukeri Nunatakker ( Bulgarian Кукерски нунатаци Kukerski nunatazi ; English Kukeri Nunataks ) are two up to 320 m high nunatakker on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . They rise 3.7 km east of the Kuzman Knoll , 0.7 km north of the Nestinari Nunatakker , 2.7 km southeast of the Atanasoff Nunatak and 2 km west of the Godetsch Nunatak in the middle of the Huron Glacier .
Bulgarian scientists mapped and named them between 2004 and 2005 while surveying the Tangra Mountains . The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after Kukeri , a traditional game in Bulgaria that ushers in the turn of the year.
