Vladimir Kulich
Vladimir Kulich (born July 14, 1956 in Prague ) is a Czech - Canadian actor .
Life
Kulich was born in what was then Czechoslovakia and began his acting career at the local state theater. His extraordinary height (1.96 m) and his generally strong physical presence made him well known, and he also learned several languages such as French and English . When he was a child, he moved to Canada with his family and began acting in Hollywood films and television series ( MacGyver , The X-Files - The FBI's Creepy Cases ).
Kulich had his most popular appearance in the adventure film The 13th Warrior from 1999, in which he played the Nordic warrior king Buliwyf, who is based on the literary figure of Beowulf . In 2002 he played the role of the beast in the series Angel - Hunter of Darkness .
