Kulo is a small uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .

geography

Kulo is located together with Alinonga and the Tangatasito rock in its own small bay formed by Nuapapu , Vakaʻeitu , Langitau and Lape . The island lies behind an opening in the reef crown in the west between Nuapapu and Vakaʻeitu.

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vava'u group, Kulo is occasionally hit by cyclones .
