The Kulu Pumori (also Kullu Pumori ) is a mountain in the western Himalayas in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh .
The 6553 m high mountain lies in the main Himalayan range in the Lahaul and Spiti district . The Kulu Pumori has a pyramidal shape and the source glaciers of the Bara Shigri glacier flow around it. The Parbati (6633 m) rises 4.4 km south-southeast of the Kulu Pumori .
The Kulu Pumori was first climbed on June 6, 1964 by Robert Pettigrew, Franz Mohling, Wangyal and Ang Chook over the southwest ridge.
