The Kummerkasten (own spelling: KUMMERKASTEN ) is an advice program for young people on the station KiKA . From 2003 to 2004 it was presented on Wednesdays by the KiKA presenters as part of the Kikania program. In 2004 it was moderated in part on the KI.KA LIVE program until May 2005 . From 2005 to 2009 there was a separate show. During 2009 and 2010 the suggestion box was broadcast again on KIKA LIVE . From March 2011 to November 2014 the guide occupied its own slot again. From 2015 to October 2016, the suggestion box was again part of KiKA LIVE . From November 6, 2016 to December 1, 2019, the suggestion box was a cross-media TV and online broadcast.

Content of broadcasts

Suggestion box is an advisory program for schoolchildren on the topics of love, friendship and problems. In each broadcast, a current problem is addressed and then, illustrated by graphics, photos, icons and original sounds, helpful tips and food for thought are given. The approach to questions of the target group is always solution-oriented and creative, the answers understandable and to the point. The advisers for the broadcasts come from the advisory center of the number against Kummer and from the Diakonie Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia, who also offer accompanying and anonymous e-mail advice. A chat is also offered online in which the experts answer questions about the topics covered in the program.
