Tanja Mairhofer
Tanja Mairhofer-Obele (born May 31, 1976 in Johannesburg , South Africa ) is an Austrian author , television presenter and actress .

Mairhofer spent the first years of her life in France and South Africa , but she grew up in Braunau in Upper Austria . She left school when she was 15 and took on odd jobs. As a 21-year-old, she made up her Matura at the commercial academy and began to study. She is now a qualified journalist and communications specialist. She also did a Master of Arts in " International Relations ".
At the beginning of her television career, she worked at MTV and VIVA Zwei , among others , where she moderated the magazine 2Rock and, at the same time, completed a traineeship as a TV editor at the Grimme Institute . As an actress, she first appeared in various television series, including a. SOKO 5113 , Wild Boys ; further roles in the ProSieben series Märchenstunde and in the evening series Marienhof followed. In addition, she moderated the youth format Xpress.tv for two years at ATVplus . From 2005 to 2009 she was active at KiKA as a presenter of the program KiKA Live . She has also been moderating the show with the elephant at the side of André Gatzke at KiKA since September 2007 . Since 2008 she has been an internationally recognized yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance).
Author
As an author she published a. a. published by Becker Joest Volk Verlag together with the crocheters from myboshi the children's book "The little lion Henri and his crocheted friends". In it she tells the story of the fearful lion Henri, who finally wants to learn to be as brave as is expected of a lion among his own kind. Myboshi provided the crochet pattern for the characters in the story.
Two years later, her anti-guidebook " No more must " was published by ZS-Verlag ( Edel SE ). In it, Tanja Mairhofer clearly rejects the general mania for self-optimization and writes about the benefits of healthy idleness.
