Tim Trageser (born November 28, 1969 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German director and screenwriter .

life and work

Tim Trageser studied journalism and theater studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich from 1991 to 1994 . He also worked as a freelance reporter for television magazines and news programs. From 1994 he completed a degree in directing at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF). During his studies, Tim Trageser received several awards for his work: in 1995 he won the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau short film award and the Hans W. Geißendörfer young talent award for his short film A Short Shitty Evening . In 1997 he was awarded the prize of the Hof International Film Festival as the best young director for his short film The Last Second . Tim Trageser won the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Award in 2001 with his graduation film at the HFF Clowns , the short film preliminary study of which was awarded the distinction of particularly valuable .
