Tollpension is a German television film from 2006.
action
Summer time - vacation time. Like every year, the Mahlström family goes to the Baltic Sea . However, this year everything is different. Kurt is on the verge of unemployment, but his wife Marga doesn't know that. The pubescent daughter Kati would have preferred to go to the south of France and above all without her parents. The well-known cozy pension has a new owner and is now called Tollpension and the room with a sea view is occupied elsewhere.
The sight of a group of young people with disabilities disturbs Kurt's breakfast, so that the good holiday mood is gone in the morning. Kurt is only annoyed and only finds consolation at the takeaway owner Fiete. His wife Marga also turns away from the disgruntled philistine Kurt and is ensnared by the attractive pastor Müller, who forms a choir as a leisure event, especially with the female vacationers. Kurt's bad temper is increased by his jealousy of Pastor Müller.
Daughter Kati falls in love with Dominik, who is doing community service , who neglects the group of kids with disabilities through his meetings with Kati. When Kurt tries to keep one of the guests with disabilities, Rolph, at bay with a joke, he involuntarily becomes the savior of the almost drowned young man with Down's syndrome and thus the hero of the resort.
When Marga realizes that Pastor Müller is turning away from her and is already swarming around a new pretty tourist, her husband, as a new hero, is again a good match. Kurt basks in his fame now. However, when his daughter Kati finds out that Kurt is actually responsible for Rolph's being in danger at all, the family problems are reaching their peak. It wasn't until Kurt apologized to Rolph and finally told his wife about his professional and financial problems that the vacation turned into a family event.
