Sit, one remains is a film drama of director Tim Trageser from 2008. The main role of the BR - television film embodies Volker Bruch paralyzed after a motorcycle accident Michel, who has lost the meaning of life from the eyes.

action

Michel is a keen motorcyclist and is infinitely in love with his girlfriend Sabine. When she ends the relationship with him because she is in love with his best friend Stefan, he is beside himself with grief. He gets on his motorcycle and accelerates, just to get other thoughts.

Michel drives through the landscape at high speed and in a moment of inattention he loses control of his machine. As a result, his back hits a pile of wood.

When Michel wakes up in the hospital, he learns that he is now paralyzed from the waist down. The medical diagnosis is: paraplegia, so he will never be able to move his legs again and will no longer have any feeling in them. Michel cannot remember the events after the accident, he only knows that Sabine left him, the memory that she had entered into a relationship with his best friend was erased from his mind by the accident.

The diagnosis causes Michel to fall into a depression, because without feeling in his legs he will never be able to ride a motorcycle again, let alone move around on his own two feet and no longer sees any meaning in his life.

But now Michel's friends Stefan and Memme come into play. Stefan forges a plan together with the therapist Julia: He persuades Michel to take part in a mountain hut tour that is specially organized for wheelchair users. He and Memme would sit in a wheelchair and accompany Michel. The plan works, Michel agrees, probably only because from his memory the fact that Stefan is now in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend Sabine no longer exists. Michel draws new courage from the mountain tour.

The situation becomes problematic towards the end of the film story, because Sabine is of the opinion, due to a misunderstanding, that her new lover Stefan, Michel has already reported about her relationship with him.
