Florian Jahr (born June 23, 1983 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Florian Jahr was born as the son of an engineer in East Berlin, but grew up in Rendsburg , Schleswig-Holstein . During his school days he played in several episodes of the daily soap Unter uns . In 2003 he got the lead role Daniel Winter in the ProSieben film My First Friend, Mother and I, nominated for the Grimme Prize . Previously, he was already in the produced also by ProSieben film Seventeen - girls are the better guys than Chico to see. After graduating from high school, he completed an apprenticeship at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 2003 to 2007 .

In 2008 he accepted his first permanent engagement at the Weimar National Theater. From 2011 to 2015 he worked at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , from 2015 to 2019 at the Theater Basel . For the 2019/20 season he will move to the Residenztheater in Munich.
